Housing prices are up in most Swedish counties – but not in all.

Real estate prices for one- or two-dwelling buildings increased by 2 percent during the last three months (November 2009 through January 2010) compared to the previous three months, the statistics office said Wednesday.

On a yearly basis prices increased by 7 percent.

The average price was 1,954,000 kronor during the three-months-period.

The greatest increases occurred in Jämtland, Västernorrland, Dalarna, Västmanland, Kronoberg and Stockholm County. Prices fell in Örebro, Värmland, Gotland, Kalmar, Jönköping and Södermanland County.
